MAGNET STARS — TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By placing an order with Magnet Stars ("we," "us," "our"), you agree to the following terms.
1. CUSTOM, MADE-TO-ORDER PRODUCTS
Every item we sell is custom-made from a photo you upload. Because each product is personalized specifically for you, all sales are final once production has started, and we do not accept returns or exchanges for reasons of personal preference (for example, changing your mind about a photo choice after it has been printed).
2. PHOTO RIGHTS AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
By uploading a photo, you confirm that:
- You own the photo, or you have the legal right and permission to use it and to have it printed.
- The photo does not infringe on any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right belonging to someone else.
- The photo does not contain content that is illegal, obscene, or that violates the rights of any third party.
You are solely responsible for the photos you upload. We reserve the right to refuse to print any image at our discretion, including professional studio photography, copyrighted characters, or images we reasonably believe we do not have the right to reproduce.
3. PRODUCT SIZES
The sizes listed on our website (such as " 2" x 2" ") are nominal sizes — rounded, easy-to-reference labels. Because magnets are manufactured to standard metric molds, the actual finished size may differ slightly from the nominal size. Actual dimensions are listed below for reference:
- 2" x 2" (nominal) — actual size 50mm x 50mm (approx. 1.97" x 1.97")
- 2.5" x 2.5" (nominal) — actual size 63.5mm x 63.5mm (2.5" x 2.5")
- 3" x 3" (nominal) — actual size 80mm x 80mm (approx. 3.15" x 3.15")
- 2" x 3" (nominal) — actual size 53mm x 80mm (approx. 2.09" x 3.15")
- 2.5" x 3.5" (nominal) — actual size 65mm x 90mm (approx. 2.56" x 3.54")
This size variance is a standard characteristic of the manufacturing process, not a defect.
4. PRINT QUALITY AND COLOR
We print using high-quality, professional equipment, but colors on your screen may appear slightly different from the finished printed magnet due to differences between digital displays and physical printing. Minor color variation is normal and is not considered a defect.
5. ORDER ACCURACY
Please review your cropped photo, size, and quantity carefully before adding it to your cart. Once an order has been submitted and production has begun, we may not be able to make changes.
6. DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS
If your order arrives damaged or with a genuine printing defect, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order at support@magnetstars.com with a photo of the issue, and we will make it right with a reprint or refund at our discretion.
7. SHIPPING
We currently ship within the United States only. Shipping times are estimates and are not guaranteed; we are not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier once your order has left our hands.
8. LOCAL PICKUP / EVENT ORDERS
Some orders may be available for local pickup or pickup at a live event instead of shipping, where noted at checkout. It is your responsibility to arrange pickup within the agreed timeframe; we are not responsible for items left unclaimed beyond 30 days.
9. INDOOR USE
Our magnets are designed for indoor display only. We are not responsible for fading, warping, or damage caused by outdoor exposure, direct sunlight, or moisture.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Magnet Stars is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
11. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of our site and services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
